Skyport
WordPress corporate site for a freight forwarder with an instant cost estimate.
What we had to solve
Skyport ships cargo internationally by air, sea, rail and road, and also handles customs clearance and warehousing. The site had to explain that whole offer to an importer without a call to a manager: which mode fits, which countries they ship from and how to get a rough price quickly.
What we did
We built a custom WordPress theme with no off-the-shelf template. The first screen is a calculator: origin and destination country, transport mode, cargo weight and volume. The catalogue is split into delivery modes, specialised services and end-to-end solutions, with separate pages for origin countries, a block of hubs in Europe and the US, expert articles and an FAQ. The site runs in Ukrainian and English, requests come in through Contact Form 7, and a small custom plugin drives the partner logo strip.
